John Krasinski and Emily Blunt talk about Cillian Murphy’s character in “A Quiet Place – Part II”

Paramount Pictures has released a behind-the-scenes video in which director / screenwriter John Krasinski and protagonist Emily Blunt discuss the character of Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders) in the sequel to “A Quiet Place”.

“The beauty of Cillian’s character is that there has been so much loss in his life and that’s why he doesn’t feel the need to be part of any community (…) he actually represents the rest of the world. There is a darkness in him and a level of fear that makes him unpredictable, ”says John Krasinski.

“He is closed, he does not want to help, he is afraid,” adds Emily Blunt.

The actor also appears in the video and returns to some scenes and guarantees that Emmett and Evelyn’s first meeting, played by Emily, speaks volumes …

“The encounter they have in this small space is incredibly busy and intense.” “What we’re trying to create is for the audience to look and think, ‘Oh my God, what would I do in this situation?’, Adds Cillian.
