In fact, since the outbreak of war in Ukraine, electricity and gas prices have risen frighteningly, endangering the less wealthy segment of the population. Indeed, the singer took out of his pocket his electricity bills that he found himself paying recently. The artist known for the unforgettable hit ‘Happiness’ revealed the insane figures attributed to him, highlighting in particular the huge difference compared to last year, for the same period. At the moment, it is not even known yet how many properties the singer referred to.

Al Bano then said: “The first emergency to face… here with me I… they sent it to me.. electricity, my period of January-August 2021 127,492.11. Period January August 2022: 385,605. An increase of 200.2%. – he then concluded – “It is an emergency, beyond what I read for me, for all Italians, this jump seems incredible to me, it is absurd!”. A harsh testimony, which demonstrates how the energy crisis affects all layers of the population.
