At the moment, there is no official word on the happening of Taboo Tattoo season 2. However, there are some indications that the second season might be released.

Moreover, in an interview, the director Takashi Watanabe said that he would like to do the second season if he got the chance. According to the director, there’s more story to tell! 

“I’m definitely interested in doing a second season of Taboo Tattoo if the opportunity arises. I think there’s a lot more story that we can tell with these characters, and I’d love to explore that further.”

It means that Watanabe is ready for another season of the anime, but the studio and its producers have the final say on that matter. Therefore Taboo Tattoo season 2 episodes are not released by now! 

What To Expect From Taboo Tattoo Season 2?

There is a likelihood that Taboo Tattoo gets a second season and continues from where the initial season concluded. Seigi may gain more knowledge about his tattoo and its strength while he is still dealing with numerous threats against him and his friends.

Another plot point that may be explored in the next season is the love between Seigi and Izzy. The initial season ended on a slightly unfriendly note but there is a strong possibility that the two characters could become love interests at some point.

The contribution that Babylon made to the story is also another possible plot point. Babylon is a shadowy organization associated with many illegal activities.

A second season will most likely include Babylon playing on a more significant level and Seigi engaging in a duel with them. There will be character development and more!

In the anime Taboo Tattoo season one, the main protagonist Seigi Hoshikawa is impaled on a mound of spikes, after losing to Arya, the main antagonist of the series. 

Izzy, his tattoo companion BB with the rest of Seigi’s friends and allies rush to his side, but his future is uncertain. In addition, Arya has become a huge beast and will attack the city any minute now.

Seigi’s only hope could be to merge the souls of Izzy and BB with his to produce a large-scale monster to combat Arya. Taboo Tattoo is left on a cliffhanger where Seigi’s friends and allies are seen looking upwards waiting in anticipation.
