At the moment there are limited updates on the happening of Supernatural season 16. In fact, there is no hint of whether the writers have started working on another season or not. The president of Supernatural’s streaming network did say that more seasons are dependent on the lead brothers.

The CW president Mark Pedowitz said in 2016, “There’s an open pass to continuing Supernatural indefinitely if the boys keep wanting to do it.” 

Supernatural is all about Sam Winchester and Dean Winchester. The brothers are searching for their father who left to hunt a dangerous demon. The show developed a lot since the initial season.

Supernatural Season 16 Release Date Speculation

The official release date of Supernatural season 16 is not confirmed. The series is still awaiting a renewal by the team. Well, through various reactions and responses from the stars and the production team, it is doubtful that the series will make it up to the next level.

Even though we witnessed the death of Sam and Dean several times in the show, the final part of the series had a definite way of ending the characters. The way Dean makes Sam promise regarding the comeback.

Sam is shown as an old man who lives along with his son and dies peacefully later. In the last scene, the two brothers are hugging out in heaven showing a complete reunion.

The plot itself is one of the primary reasons to believe that the story will not continue. But the writers can always choose to bring magic to their plot and bring the dead and kill the living anytime they want.
