In an interview with Collider, star Steven Yeun made a shocking revelation about Prime Video’s acclaimed adult animation “Invincible.”

The production became one of the streaming platform’s biggest hits last year, and on the same day as the season finale, it got a double renewal. However, according to Yeun, official production of the next episodes has yet to begin – and they haven’t even started the process of recording the lines.

“We haven’t started,” he commented. “I know we will be starting very soon. I spoke with [o criador] Robert [Kirkman] Here and there. He is very excited. He thinks Season 2 will be even better than Season 1, which I have no doubts about. If you go to the original material, ‘Invincible’ is an amazing story. I’m really excited too.

The animated series features a strong cast as voice actors, with the voices of Hollywood stars including Zazie Beetz, Oscar winner JK Simmons and Golden Globe winner Sandra Oh.

The full cast also includes Mark Hamill, Chris Diamantopolous, Walton Goggins, Gray Griffin, Gillian Jacobs, Melise, Jason Mantzoukas, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson and Seth Rogen.

The plot follows the story of Mark Grayson, an ordinary teenager who works in an after-school cafeteria, loves comics, and has friends. His biggest difference from other young people is the fact that he is the son of the greatest superhero on the planet, Omni-Man. Soon after, Mark begins to develop the same powers as his father, such as flight, super strength, and super speed. This novelty will transform your life in unimaginable ways.
