‘Indiana Jones 5’ co-screenwriter Jez Butterworth has revealed some additional plot details for the new film from the world’s most famous archaeologist adventurer.
Butterworth, in a recent interview with Empire Magazine, spoke a bit about the plot of the film and said that the feature film will be set at the height of the space race, and will see Jones determined to find the Nazi scientists who are hiding at NASA. .
“The simple fact is that the moon landing program was carried out by a group of ex-Nazis. How ‘ex’ they are is the question. And right under Indy’s nose…”
He added: “It’s not just that the model of what a hero is has completely changed. It’s not just that they’re looking for something where there’s nothing – it’s like Reno without the stakes, or whatever your line is. But the people behind it are, you know, your mortal enemies.
