Iman Vellani is’ Ms. Marvel ‘in the new official behind-the-scenes images of the series; Check!

Recordings from the upcoming MCU series, ‘Ms. Marvel ‘, follow in full force, and now the Just Jared website has posted behind-the-scenes footage from the production that brings Iman Vellani in uniform to live the titular heroine.

In addition to Vellani, the production features Laurel Marsen as Zoe Zimmer, a character who appeared early in the comics and was one of the bullies who mistreated Kamala Khan in school. Eventually, the two come closer and develop a mutual respect that borders on friendship.

For those who are not familiar, Kamala Khan is a Pakistani-American teenager born in Jersey City, a fan of superheroes, especially “Captain Marvel“.

She is affected by the Terrigen Fog, responsible for the creation of the Inhumans. When she wakes up with superpowers, she decides to be a hero like her idol and adopts the former captain’s code name, Miss Marvel.

The directors are responsible for directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, responsible for the popular sequel “Bad Boys Forever”. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Meera Menon are also joining the project leading additional chapters.

Obaid-Chinoy is best known for winning two Oscars for the short documentaries “Saving Face” (2012) and “Uma Menina no Rio” (2015). Menon already has in his program a series of television credits, such as “The Walking Dead”, “The Punisher”, in addition to the series “Titans”, from the DC universe.
