The production, which will serve as a reboot for the franchise, was filmed in secret during the pandemic.
The new film is slated for release in late 2021.

“The plot will revolve around a horror festival in Louisiana, which attracts hundreds of nerds and genre fans from around the world. Among them, Chase and his girlfriend Laine, forced to embark on this adventure. But as the festival approaches, Laine begins to have unexplained premonitions and disturbing visions associated with the town’s past and, most importantly, the legend of the Creeper. Soon, Laine begins to believe that something supernatural has been summoned … and that she is at the center of it all.

Shot in secret during the pandemic, the film will be the first in a new trilogy, which this time will not have the involvement of Victor Salva, after the director’s arrest for child sexual abuse.
Timo Vuorensola, who oversaw the films in the “Given Madness to the Nazis” franchise, is directing the new production.
The film was written by Sean Michael Argo (“Iconoclast“).
