Season 3 of ‘Ted Lasso’ is not set for release until mid-2022, but fans of the show can let go of their beloved characters with the production’s new Christmas short.
Apple TV + surprised series fans by broadcasting the short film “Ted Lasso – The Missing Christmas Mustache” on YouTube, produced entirely in animation.

Filming for Season 3 begins in February 2022.
In an interview with Deadline, executive producer Bill Lawrence said the show may have more seasons than originally forecast of just three.
“When we got the idea for this particular story, we said the show would only last three seasons,” commented Lawrence. “And I probably have a clear conscience saying that even as ‘Ted Lasso’ continues, the story the writers tell has had a beginning, a middle and an end for three seasons. Now they can step away from that. idea “.

The production was created by Bill Lawrence, Jason Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt and Joe Kelly.
The plot follows the life of Ted Lasso, a football coach who finds himself in trouble when he finds himself hired to coach a football team in England, despite a lack of experience in the sport.
