Apple TV + surprised series fans by broadcasting the short film “Ted Lasso – The Missing Christmas Mustache” on YouTube, produced entirely in animation.

Filming for Season 3 begins in February 2022.

In an interview with Deadline, executive producer Bill Lawrence said the show may have more seasons than originally forecast of just three.

“When we got the idea for this particular story, we said the show would only last three seasons,” commented Lawrence. “And I probably have a clear conscience saying that even as ‘Ted Lasso’ continues, the story the writers tell has had a beginning, a middle and an end for three seasons. Now they can step away from that. idea “.
