Season 4 will feature a new Geralt of Rivia, who will be played by Liam Hemsworth
“My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with monsters and adventures, and sadly, I’ll be laying down my medallion and swords for season four,” Cavill said. “In my place, the fantastic Mr Lobo Branco will take on the role. As with literary greats, I pass the torch with reverence for the time spent playing Geralt and with excitement to see Liam’s take on this more fascinating man. and nuanced Liam, good lord, will bring such wonderful depth to this character, and dive into it and see what you can find.
Hemsworth replied
“As a fan of The Witcher, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to play Geralt of Rivia. I will take on the blades of the white wolf for the next chapter in your adventure. Henry, I have been a fan of yours for years and I was inspired by what you brought to this beloved character. I may have big boots to fill, but I’m really excited to step into the world of The Witcher.”
