Harry Styles won his first gold gramophone of his career at the last Grammy Awards for the acclaimed track “Watermelon Sugar”.
The song won the award for Best Pop Solo Performance, winning “Cardigan,” by Taylor Swift, and “Don’t Start Now,” by Dua Lipa.
The song is part of the well-received album ‘Fine Line’, released in late 2019.
Criticism | ‘Fine Line’ is a psychedelic musical journey
Having started his career with the boy band One Direction, Styles bet on his solo career in 2017, with the release of his eponymous album. Last year, her second CD, “Fine Line,” debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart and garnered very positive reviews.
The singer also made his acting debut in “Dunkirk”, an acclaimed war drama directed by Christopher Nolan.
This is the last international program canceled on national territory due to the new Coronavirus. A few weeks ago, Taylor Swift postponed her visit to Brazil, confirming that he would still perform next year.
