The reboot of ‘Gossip Girl’ has already become a hit with HBO Max subscribers and the production’s 3rd episode promises romance dramas and a lot of tension around the true identity of the new take on the company’s main gossip source. ‘Upper East Side

The promo also came with the official synopsis for the chapter in question:

As the school takes drastic measures to hide Gossip Girl’s identity, a blind object threatens to end a couple from Constance. Max (Thomas Doherty) pushes Julien (Jordan Alexander) to explore life outside his comfort zone, leading the two teenagers to uncover shocking family secrets. Zoya (Whitney Peak) becomes an unlikely ally to help fit in.

Gossip Girl returns as the main source of the scandalous life of the New York elite. A new generation of Upper East Siders is the blogger’s target, exposing their scandals, angst and gossip in the new age of social media.

The cast includes Whitney Peak, Savannah Smith, Eli Brown, Johnathan Fernandez, Emily Alyn Lind, Jason Gotay, Thomas Doherty, Tavi Gevinson, Adam Chanler-Berat and Zion Moreno.
