‘Cruella 2’: Emma Stone returns to live-action sequence

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney was so pleased with the reception of “Cruella” that it is already developing the sequel.

Along with Emma Stone in the lead role, the upcoming film will also see the return of screenwriter Tony McNamara and director Craig Gillespie.

‘Cruella’ presents the story of legendary and most iconic Disney villain – and notoriously fashionable – Cruella de Vil. Set in 1970s London in the midst of the punk rock revolution, the film features a young con artist named Estella, a smart and creative girl determined to make a name for herself through her designs. She befriends a couple of young thieves and together they make a living in the streets of London.
