Ever since the first teasers for “She-Hulk”: Defender of Heroes, fans have been wondering what part of the MCU timeline the series is set in.
In previews, Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) appears with his healthy arm, unmarked by damage from the Infinity Gauntlet in ‘Avengers: Endgame’… So does he train his cousin Jennifer Walters before or after snapping your fingers?
The Abomination (Tim Roth) will also be part of the plot, but does his presence occur before or after his appearance in “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”?
Because of these and other questions, screenwriter Jessica Gao addressed the topic and revealed to TV Line that the series:
“It’s set shortly after ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’. Not years later, it’s really close to the events of that movie, it’s a relatively short period of time.”
Gao’s statement already makes it clear that Hulk’s arm has regenerated, as the character has this ability.

As for the Abomination, it remains to be seen how and why he will be a major part of the attraction, which debuts tomorrow (August 18) on Disney+.
