Filming for the new adaptation of ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ has started and co-director Jonathan Goldstein officially broke the news by posting a photo of the clapperboard.
Goldstein is co-directing the film with his partner, John Francis Daley. The duo wrote the screenplay for ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming‘ and also directed the reboot of the films ‘Game Night’ and ‘Frustrated Holidays’.
The film’s premiere is scheduled for March 3, 2023.
The cast will include Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant, Sophia Lillis, Judge Smith and Rege-Jean Page.
In addition to the script, the duo Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley will also be responsible for directing the feature film.
In 2000, a theatrical adaptation was launched, massacred by critics and failing at the box office. Years later, the film won two sequences produced directly on video, which are readily ignored by the general public.
Created by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, the original “ Dungeons & Dragons ” was first released in 1974.
