According to Deadline, Chloë Sevigny (‘American Horror Story’) has joined the cast of the second season of the anthology series ‘FEUD’, which will be titled ‘FEUD: Capote’s Women’.
The actress will play designer, socialite and actress CZ Guest, who is one of Capote’s inner circle women (who will be played by Tom Hollander).
The cast will also include Naomi Watts as Babe Paley, wife of CBS Chairman Bill Paley; Diane Lane and Calista Flockhart as socialites Nancy “Slim” Keith and Lee Radziwill, respectively.
The plot will show how author Truman Capote betrayed many of his friends when he published the short story La Côte Basque in 1965.
The characters in the story were thinly disguised versions of Capote’s real-life friends and confidants, and the story revealed many of their most scandalous secrets. After its publication, the women in question cut off contact with Capote, and the story was the subject of widespread controversy.
The production will be based on the book Capote’s Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era, written by Laurence Leamer.
