Sony Pictures has released the first official teaser and synopsis for “Spider-Man: Through the Spiderverse”, the Oscar-winning animated sequel released in 2018.
While not revealing many details, the brief video and previously unseen information was enough to get fans hugely excited to watch the feature on the big screen.

Miles Morales returns for the next installment in the Oscar-winning saga Spiderverse, an epic adventure that will transport sympathetic friend Miles Morales from the Brooklyn neighborhood through the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to take on a villain more powerful than anything they’ve ever encountered.
Joaquim dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson direct.
Santos is best known for his work on “The Legend of Korra” and “Avatar: The Legend of Aang”, while Powers co-directed the famous “Soul” alongside Peter Docter and Mike Jones.
Thompson, in turn, was responsible for the production design of the first “Aranhaverse”.
It should be remembered that producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller scripted the sequel alongside David Callaham (“Shang-Chi”). Lord initially co-signed the original film alongside director Rodney Rothman.
Daniel Pemberton is also returning to compose the soundtrack for Miles Morales’ Upcoming Adventures.
Released in 2019, “Spider-Man on the Aranhaverse” went on to become a critical and public success, totaling $ 375 million worldwide, on a budget of $ 90 million.
