Elizabeth Thatcher is the focus of the show. She’s a young teacher used to living in high society. The official synopsis of the show reads, “Elizabeth Thatcher is a young teacher accustomed to high society, so she experiences culture shock when she gets her first classroom assignment in Coal Valley.

Life in the small mining town is filled with challenges. A recent explosion has killed more than a dozen of the town’s miners, compelling the widows of those men to work in the mines to earn money.

One of them – Abigail Stanton, whose husband was a foreman at the site of the tragedy – welcomes Thatcher and tries to help her adjust to frontier customs. ‘When Calls The Heart’ Is Returning For Season 11

When Calls The Heart is already renewed for season 11 by the streaming platform. The team of the show is all set and excited to come back to tell more stories.

‘When Calls The Heart’ Received Early Renewal

Spectators should know that When Calls The Heart actually received an early renewal. Season 10 of the show is still set to premiere later this year.

Erin Krakow, series star and executive producer, expressed excitement for Season 10, which is scheduled to release on July 30, 2023.

The star said, “I am beyond excited for Season 10 of When Calls the Heart to premiere July 30. This season is full of beautiful moments and exciting twists and turns. I can’t wait for the Hearties to see what we’ve created for them.

Elizabeth In A Different Place

Stewart also explained how Elizabeth is in a different place this time.

“Elizabeth is in a different place than she was with Jack. The experiences of widowhood and motherhood have deepened her. I don’t think she needs or even desires to be swept off her feet in quite that once-in-a-lifetime way she was with Jack.

Including Little Jack in the proposal is a signal that her top priority now is as a mother.”
