Apple TV+’s acclaimed comedy “Ted Lasso” has become one of the best productions of 2021 and is proving to be an awards season favorite.
During the announcement of the winners of the 2022 Emmy Awards, MJ Delaney won the statuette for Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series for his outstanding work. Previously, Jason Sudeikis won Best Actor in a Comedy Series, repeating the feat at the Golden Globes and SAG Awards, while Brett Goldstein was honored in the Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series category.

The production was created by Bill Lawrence, Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt and Joe Kelly.
The plot follows the life of Ted Lasso, an American football manager who finds himself in trouble when he finds himself hired to coach a football team in England, despite not having enough experience with the sport. .
