According to Deadline, Emily Osment and Gregg Sulkin will star in the new Netflix comedy series, which has yet to be released.
The two actors began their careers at Disney, respectively joining the cast of the classic series “Hannah Montana” and “The Wizards of Waverly Place”.
Pamela Fryman (“Two and a Half Men”) will be responsible for the direction.
Set in Los Angeles, the plot revolves around a posh, Ivy League-educated young woman called Chelsea (Osment), who has no options left and has to move in with her sister Claire … and some of his friends. One of those friends is Grant (Sulkin), an often shirtless personal trainer who has had a romantic past with Chelsea’s sister.
The production is being developed by Jack Dolgen (‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’), Doug Mand (‘How I Met Your Mother’) and Kourtney Kang (‘Fresh Off the Boat’).
Ten episodes have been ordered for the first season.
