“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” brought back Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and became a ratings phenomenon, grossing over $940 million worldwide.
But the actress has no plans to return to the character anytime soon.
Olsen will take a break from superhero movies ahead of a possible and likely solo project on the character he plays in the MCU.
The actress revealed that if Marvel had a good story, she would be there to play Wanda – but she would need to take some time off before returning to the role.
“I don’t know, but if they have a good story to tell, I’ll be there,” she said. When asked if she would need a breather from Marvel’s chaotic timeline, she added, “Yeah, exactly or just a little bit. [intervalo]. A version of a break”.

Yesterday, Marvel Studios producer Richie Palmer explained how the character will be further explored, calling him “the crown jewel” of the new phase of the cinematic pantheon.
“If Doctor Strange is the anchor of the MCU in Phase 4, then Wanda Maximoff is the crown jewel,” he said in an interview with ScreenRant.
Are you looking forward to the character’s return?
