Dreaming in Azur has just taken place, a charity event for the protection of the oceans. An initiative commissioned by The Venetian Arts Foundation in collaboration with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. Entitled Dreaming in Azur, the gala dinner, in the presence of guest stars, raised funds which will be donated to various projects.
The Venetian Arts Foundation is a foundation born with the desire and intention to promote the visual and musical arts, paying particular attention to Venetian talents. Founded by Filippo and Daniela Ghirelli, the foundation is also a partner of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.
The Dreaming in Azur event was born from this strong partnership. An initiative that took place in the City of Monte-Carlo on October 1, 2022. The event was held at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo and Prince Albert II of Monaco himself attended the evening.

Many famous personalities who participated in Dreaming in Azur, born to protect the oceans. At the event, singer Mika also performed live with his most famous songs. Fundraising at the gala dinner, which was donated to various projects, made the evening event valuable. Particular attention is paid to the protection of the coasts, the ecosystems that form part of them and the marine fauna. The primary objective of the event is indeed to raise awareness of climate change and its consequences. As revealed in the memo that disseminates some details of the event, Mika reportedly said: “Climate change and rising sea levels threaten many populations living in areas near the coast. I am very proud of the work done by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation to identify and accelerate mitigation solutions to meet these crucial challenges”.
To take care of the details of Dreaming in Azur Antonia Sautter, who was entrusted with the artistic direction of the event. Venetian costume designer well known throughout the world for the creation of the sumptuous costumes made for the Carnival of Venice. For the occasion, moreover, the company of interpreters of Il Ballo del Doge showed off their sumptuous and precious dresses. French chef Yannick Allèno designed the private dinner for the event. Winner of six Michelin stars throughout his career. Daniela Ghirelli, at the end of the event, confessed with pleasure: “We are very satisfied with the success of our charity gala, which saw the two cities of Monte-Carlo symbolically unite (with the presence of Prince Albert of Monaco ) and Venice. , represented by two beautiful queens in an exciting parade. They wore the beautiful necklaces of our partner and dear friend Roberto Coin.
