According to the Heat Vision website, Walt Disney Studios has given the green light for a live-action remake of the animated classic ‘Robin Hood’.
Details on the project have not been released, but director Carlos Lopez Estrada (“Blind Spot”) is known to be on board to helm the project.
Justin Springer will be the producer. The film will premiere on the Disney + streaming service, in the footsteps of “ The Lady and the Tramp, ” and will recreate the animals via CGI.
The original animation was released in 1973 and directed by Wolfgang Reitherman, being the second feature film made after the death of director Walt Disney.
