Christian Bale to investigate murders in new Netflix thriller

According to Deadline, Christian Bale will star in the thriller “ The Pale Blue Eye, ” which is being developed by Netflix.

The actor will play a detective investigating a series of murders at a military academy, aided by a young man later known as Edgar Allan Poe.

The film will be based on the book of the same name by Louis Bayard.

Scott Cooper will be responsible for the direction.

This film will mark the third collaboration between Bale and Cooper, after “Tudo por Justiça” and “Hostis”.

Filming is expected to begin as soon as Bale completes his recordings in the ‘Thor: Love and Thunder‘ sequence and the still untitled new film directed by David O. Russell.
