Chris Rock is called in to present the 2023 Oscars and REFUSES the invitation; To understand!

According to Arizona Republic, actor and comedian Chris Rock (“Spiral: Legacy of Saw”) said in his stand-up that he received an invitation to join the presenting team for the 2023 Oscars, but said that he had declined the offer.

Rock didn’t want to expand on the matter, but it’s worth remembering that he also turned down an offer to appear in a Super Bowl ad, which would certainly bring some sort of satire with the controversy involving Will Smith. (‘King Richard: Raising Champions’).

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced in an official statement that the date for the 95th Academy Awards is March 12, 2023, two weeks before this year’s ceremony.

Entries in the general category are open until Tuesday, November 15 for eligible films, while nominees will be officially announced on January 24, 2023.‎

Recall that the awards will be broadcast on ABC in North America, directly from the Dolby Theater at Ovation Hollywood.‎
