According to Deadline, Brendan Fraser (‘The Mummy’) has joined Peter Dinklage (‘Game of Thrones’) and Josh Brolin (‘ Avengers: Ultimatum ‘) in the cast of director Ethan Coen’s upcoming comedy’ Brothers’ (‘Where the weak have no place ‘).
Unfortunately, no information about Fraser’s character has been revealed.
However, after years away from major productions, the star has collected notable titles, such as Darren Aronofsky’s upcoming drama “The Whale”.
He will also star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio (“Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood”) and Robert De Niro (“The Irishman”) in Martin Scorsese’s dramatic thriller “The Killers of the Flower Moon”.
It is therefore possible that Fraser is one of the main characters of “Brothers”, which also includes Glenn Close (“Once upon a time”).
Recalling that Brolin and Dinklage have previously worked together in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, more specifically in ‘Avengers: Infinite War’.

The comedy, which will also be co-written by Coen, will be funded by Legendary.
Details of the story have not been revealed, although comparisons between this film and Ivan Reitman’s classic “Gemini” have been drawn. The 1988 film also starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito as likely brothers.
Brolin is known for many movie roles, the best known being Thanos in the ‘Avengers’ franchise and Cable in ‘Deadpool 2’. His other projects include ‘The Goonies’, ‘Sicario: No Man’s Land’ (and its sequel released in 2018) and ‘Oldboy – Days of Revenge’.
Dinklage, meanwhile, rose to fame for playing Tyrion Lannister in the critically acclaimed “Game of Thrones” series, which ended last year. Additionally, he has appeared in films such as ‘Pixels’, ‘X-Men: Days of a Forgotten Future’ and most recently in ‘My Dinner with Hervé’.
Ethan has an extensive filmography, which he built alongside his brother, Joel Coen. His credits include “Where the Weak Can’t Turn”, “The Big Lebowski”, “Indomitable Bravery” and, most recently, “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs”.
