Brandon Perea did a great job starring in the recent horror film ‘No! Don’t Look!’, by Jordan Peele, and garnered fan support from Marvel Studios to embody some of the iconic characters from the superhero pantheon.
Perea discussed the possibility of playing a version of Nova, one of the MCU’s most powerful heroes, and also agreed when one of the fans suggested him as the X-Men’s Nightcrawler. The actor even said he could see himself as Johnny Storm/Human Torch in a “Fantastic Four” reboot.
In an interview with ComicBook.com, the star was asked if he had spoken to Marvel about future lineup, to which he replied:
“If I had, I couldn’t talk about it anyway. I learned from the mistake of other people in the MCU letting things hang out. Even so, I learned a lot from ‘No! Don’t look!’, because it looks like there’s a laser on your forehead all the time so you don’t reveal anything. I can say this: I threw it out into the universe, let’s see what happens. I pay attention to what the fans say, what they like, and yeah, that would be great to have [um papel]”.
Recalling that Peele’s film is still screened in some Brazilian cinemas.
