Robert King“Black Panther” is easily one of the best movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and in no time it will get a sequel subtitled “Wakanda Forever.” And while fans are already waiting for a third installment in the franchise, a new sequel has yet to be made official by Marvel Studios.
In an interview with Collider, producer Nate Moore revealed that he and director Ryan Coogler had initial conversations about the possibility of an upcoming feature film, commenting that they would wait for audience reception before moving on. .
“We really want to see how audiences receive the movie, and I think Ryan is really interested in how the movie plays out before we decide,” he says. “There are ideas for a third movie floating around, if we can do it. But until [‘Wakanda Para Sempre’] leave, we are cautious. We don’t want to guarantee anything, because you never know what will happen.”
However, it looks like Moore and Coogler will have nothing to worry about, given the excellent first impressions critics have given the saga’s second chapter.
Those who have already seen the feature rave, calling it fantastic, epic, incredible, and a beautiful tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman.

#BlackPanther Wakanda Forever is excellent. An immensely powerful story of moving forward – sometimes overwhelming, but also beautifully cathartic and encouraging. I can’t forget how much the film deserves this title. pic.twitter.com/jYZedeJgT1

“‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ is excellent. An immensely powerful story about moving forward – sometimes hesitant, but also beautifully cathartic and honest.
#WakandaForever is exceptional. He handles loss, grief, and revenge with a maturity and seriousness rarely seen in the MCU. Black Panther continues to be their crown jewel. Letitia Wright, Angela Bassett and Tenoch Huerta all bring some of the best acting I’ve seen all year. pic.twitter.com/ECqGxfEyFi

#WakandaForever was a beautiful tribute to Chadwick and the weight of his loss. The film beautifully addresses grief and what it can do to a person. Also the action is so good and very brutal. I need time to process this. #black Panther

“‘Forever Wakanda’ is a beautiful tribute to Chadwick and the weight of his loss. The film speaks beautifully about grief and what it can do to a person. Plus the action is big and very brutal. I need time to process.
Ryan Coogler’s #BlackPantherWakandaForever is above all cathartic. A moving film about loss, legacy and healing. The story is intimate, yet expansive with global power struggles and palace intrigue. Namor de Tenoch Huerta is a FORCE, better than I expected. So much to discuss. pic.twitter.com/cDFVcPYHRR

The payback also seems certain: current box office analysis indicates that the sequel will gross at least $175 million in its opening weekend (November 11-13) in the United States alone. These projections are considered conservative, as Marvel Studios and Disney have yet to begin major promotional and marketing efforts for the film.
The original film opened to $202 million in the United States in February 2018, breaking records. It ended up grossing $1.34 billion worldwide and transformed Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa – and the kingdom of Wakanda – into some of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s biggest milestones.
“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is expected to end its run at the domestic box office with an estimated value of between $445 million and $590 million.
The original ended its run with $700 million.
Still, the sequel could be more profitable than Marvel’s latest titles like ‘Shang-Chi’ ($224.5 million), ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ ($411.3 million) and ‘ Thor: Love and Thunder’ ($343.2 million). million).
Remember that the values in parentheses refer to the American box office.
Directed by Ryan Coogler, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” opens November 10 and stars Letitia Wright, Angela Bassett, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Martin Freeman, Danai Gurira, Tenoch Huerta and Michaela Coel.
