The new ‘Black Adam’ trailer dropped several narrative revelations – and also provided a surprising connection to David Ayer’s ‘Suicide Squad’ movie.
In the video, Amanda Waller (replayed by Viola Davis) rallies the Justice Society to arrest the titular character, played by Dwayne Johnson, to prevent him from getting his dreaded revenge.
In this scene, it is possible to see on a computer screen other groups that could also be summoned to fight Black Adam – including the Suicide Squad, organized to stop the “next Superman”. Considering the character is just as powerful as Superman, it makes sense that Waller would want to have a method for dealing with him.
Recalling that “Black Adam” will hit domestic theaters on October 20, a day before the US premiere.
