In a recent interview with Looper, young actor Alex Wolff opened up to the acclaimed psychological horror “Hereditary” and admitted that being in the production had an effect on him like no film before.
“I will say this movie has caused me as many problems as a movie can,” he commented. The problems included a lot of psychological disorders, loss of sleep – basically he was in “everything imaginable.” It really affected me.
He goes on to say that he takes great care to comment on anything about the feature film because he understands that he is in a privileged position because of his profession.
“It’s very difficult because as an actor you don’t want to sound pretentious or egotistical or imply that everything is too serious. Because you have a comfortable job in a lot of ways, but it was one of the most emotionally difficult, it was one of those stunts with my emotional well-being. “
Wolff is also a cast member of ‘Tempo’, a new M. Night Shyamalan horror (‘Fragmented’) which premiered today, July 29, in national theaters.
