In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, producer Adam Shankman revealed that in addition to a new sequel, the “Abracadabra” franchise may also have possible spinoffs.
“I believe that [a diretora] Anna [Fletcher] handled Becca’s story arc really well. We talked a lot about how this storyline was going to work, and Anne just said, “We’re going to do this.” And it was great. This resolution has opened up interesting avenues for potential spin-offs.
It should be recalled that the “Abracadabra 2” sequel recorded more than 2.7 billion minutes watched, making it the most watched film in Disney+ history.
In the period from September 30 to October 2, the feature film broke the record for ‘Encanto’ animation, which recorded 2.2 billion minutes watched during the same period.
