‘The Mandalorian’ will have a special episode on the creation of Luke Skywalker in season 2

Via Twitter, Disney + announced that it will be releasing a special Disney Gallery episode focused on the creation of Luke Skywalker in Season 2 of “The Mandalorian.”

The attraction, scheduled to open on August 25, will explore behind the scenes of the episode that brought the Jedi Master back after the events of “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi”.

Throughout the special, the production team will explain how they managed to rejuvenate Mark Hamill through visual effects and how they managed to keep his appearance in the acclaimed episode a secret.

Recalling that the 2nd season of ‘The Mandalorian’ maintained the highest level of the series – and its success was recognized when the nominees were announced for the 2021 Emmy Awards.

Earning no less than 24 nominations, the production was the most nominated alongside “The Crown”. She competes in categories such as Best Drama, Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Giancarlo Esposito and Best Guest Actor in a Drama Series for Timothy Olyphant and Carl Weathers.

The winners will be announced on September 19.
