Emmy 2021 | “The Mandalorian” and “The Crown” topped the list of nominees for the awards; Check!

The nominees for the 73rd Emmy Awards were unveiled today, July 13, and HBO and HBO Max did well at this award with no less than 130 nominations (closely followed by Netflix at 129 and Disney + at 71).

The dramas “The Crown” and “The Mandalorian” are tied for the most famous series of awards, winning 24 nominations. ‘WandaVision’ also kept its promises by appearing in 23 categories.

Several mainstream productions were also on the nominees list, including “Bridgerton”, “Lovecraft Country” and “The Boys”. Mj Rodriguez made history by becoming the first trans actress to be nominated for Best Actress – Drama for her work as Blanca Rodriguez in ‘Pose’ (which also competes in Best Drama Series). Elizabeth Olsen is shortlisted for the Best Actress in the Limited Series statuette for “WandaVision”, against favorite Anya Taylor-Joy (“The Queen’s Gambit”).

In the comedy section, it was noted that 75% of the nominees were from unreleased productions, including “Cobra Kai”, “Emily in Paris”, “Hacks”, “Ted Lasso”, “Pen15” and “The Flight Attendant”.

Remember that the winners will be announced on September 19, with a presentation by Cédric the Animator.
