‘Raised by Wolves’: season 2 hires six new names in the cast

According to Deadline, HBO Max has hired six new names for the second season of “Raised by Wolves,” a sci-fi series created by Ridley Scott.

Upcoming episodes will feature names like Peter Christoffersen, Selina Jones, Morgan Santo, James Harkness, Kim Engelbrecht, and Jennifer Saayeng.

Christoffersen as intelligent: a devout atheist soldier, veteran of the war on Earth, whose only friend is a supercomputer he has sworn to protect. Jones as Grandma: A divine android, built thousands of years ago by members of the lost civilization that existed in Kepler 22b. Holy as Vrille: A humanoid and android costume designed to look and behave like the real Vrielle Pell, who died after taking her own life. She’s rebellious, impulsive, and obscure – and has an affection for rabbits and other small animals. Harkness as Tamerlan: a sinister atheist soldier with a provocative personality. His past was an eyesore – until he found the call as a member of the atheist army and fought the Mithraic on Earth. Engelbrecht as Decima: Highly educated, Decima was a prominent weapons scientist / developer who did things immoral enough to be successful. She is notoriously ruthless, but still carries the guilt (although she has erased much of it in Futuristic therapies) Saayeng as Nerva: a strong atheist woman who controls an underground network of goods and services. Nerva is a civilian who was taken to the settlement by a hijacked arch. In the process, he lost a child – and secretly wants another.

Created by Ridley Scott (‘lade Runner‘; ‘Alien’), the futuristic series follows two androids whose task it is to raise human children on a mysterious planet. As the human colony divides due to religious differences, androids find controlling the beliefs of humans to be a complicated job.

The production cast includes Travis Fimmel, Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Winta McGrath, Niamh Algar, Felix Jamieson, Ethan Hazzard, Jordan Loughran, Aasiya Shah and Ivy Wong.

In addition to being the executive producer of the project, Scott will also be responsible for the direction.

“I’ve always looked for new frontiers in the sci-fi genre, and found something really original in ‘Raised by Wolves’ – a completely imaginative and distinct world, full of characters grappling with existential questions. : what makes us human? What is a family? What if we start over and erase the mess we’ve created on our planet? Could we survive? Would it be better? Scott mused.
