‘The Banishing’: family is plagued by an evil presence in horror trailer

‘The Banishing’, a new supernatural horror directed by Christopher Smith (‘Fear Triangle‘), won its trailer captioned:

In the plot, a young Reverend (Sean Harris) moves into an old house, with his wife (Jessica Brown Findlay) and daughter (Anya McKenna-Bruce) to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside.

However, the couple’s daughter ends up being tormented by an evil presence that intends to separate the family. Aware that his beliefs do not weaken the apparition, the reverend will have to resort to black magic to save the one he loves the most.

Still without a premiere date, the film will be shown on the Shudder streaming platform.
