Directed by Peter Bebjak, the screenplay is based on the true story of Freddy and Walter – two young Slovak Jews, deported to Auschwitz in 1942.

Two young Slovak Jews were deported to Auschwitz in 1942. Thanks to meticulous planning and the help of their fellow inmates, they managed to escape. Moved by the hope that their evidence could save lives, they return to Slovakia through the mountains. With help from strangers along the way, the two finally manage to cross the border and find resistance. They compile a detailed report on the systematic genocide in the countryside, but the Nazi propaganda makes their reports very distressing to reality.

Noel Czuczor, Peter Ondrejička and Wojciech Mecwaldowski are the stars of the production.
