“1899”, a horror production created by Jantje Frize and Baran bo Odar, responsible for the famous “Dark”, arrived today in the Netflix catalog.
The story follows a group of European immigrants aboard a ship and in search of a new life in another country.
However, the journey takes an unexpected turn when they encounter a ship that had disappeared months before their trip, and what they find on board turns passage to the promised land into a deadly nightmare.
On social media, subscribers who have started watching are already completely immersed and confused by the plot, which promises to tie as many knots in the mind as ‘Dark’.
