Tim Burton reveals why he would NEVER direct a Marvel movie

In an interview with Deadline, famed director Tim Burton said he would never direct a Marvel movie. Although he knows the genre well, having directed ‘Batman’ (1989) and ‘Batman Returns’ (1992), the filmmaker has revealed he has no interest in returning to the superhero universe.

“I can only focus on one universe at a time, I couldn’t handle a multiverse.”

Additionally, the filmmaker revealed that the live-action “Dumbo” was set to mark the last partnership with Disney of his career: “[A Disney] become very consolidated and homogeneous. There is little room for different projects.
