Bowes-Lyon, who died last month aged 80, was second cousin to Camilla herself. Sure, the mission proves the two exes have remained on great terms, but experts are pretty sure Andrew Parker Bowles won’t be taking on any major roles. He could go on to represent the Queen on other niche occasions.

He and Camilla married in 1973 and two children were born from their marriage. The separation occurs in the 1980s, while they wait until 1995 to formalize the divorce.
