Emanuele Filiberto launches the committee for Savoia Calcio

Prince Emanuele Filiberto created a committee to save Savoy’s fortune. The news was given by the heir to the House of Savoy himself, who also through social channels, made known the official statement of the Private Secretariat of the Royal House of Savoy. The prince showed what the future of the Torre Annunziata football team could be.

The prince announced that he had set up a committee with other leading figures, including Nazario Matachione, already in the past at the head of the Whites. With them also Dr. Marco Limoncelli and the engineer Roberto Passariello. The team already seems united and complete and, above all, eager to build the team’s fortune.

According to recent news, in fact, it seems that the Torre Annunziata team have been victims of extortion by the Gionta Camorra clan according to an investigation by the DDA of Naples. For Emanuele Filiberto, however, there are possibilities to remedy the situation.

To expose his idea, Prince Emanuele Filiberto issued a long statement. The heir to the historic family claimed that recent events represent not only “an insult to the many fans, who have always supported football at Torre Annunziata with love and passion, even in difficult times”, but also a “wound that I’m tearing up and deeply affecting my sensitivity too.” The delicate situation therefore forced the prince to make his contribution to relaunch Savoia Calcio and all its supporters.

From this intention was born the committee that will take care of carrying out a new business project. They are not personalities from outside the football club. “Doctor Matachione – wrote the prince – remained in the hearts of the fans for all that he gave during the period of his management. Despite some initial hesitation and perplexity, he finally decided to stay close to me to give me exclusively technical comfort thanks to the experience acquired in the sector”. Passariello, on the other hand, is a figure specializing in international certifications for the consumer protection, as well as a promoter of the fight for healthy and clean sport.

In addition, Dr. Limoncelli is a well-known representative of the banking and financial world, while the lawyer Elio D’Aquino will help the committee to create an audience of institutional personalities from the territory able to guarantee the maximum transparency of the project. Prince Emanuele Filiberto, in fact, makes it clear that he wants to remove from the Savoia Club “the dark shadows of the Camorra and crime”.
