It’s nice to be ugly?! The director of “Tico e Teco” wants a spin-off with Sonic Ugly

When ‘Tico e Teco: Defensores da Lei’ was released, audiences went wild after watching Disney+ bring back the initial live-action version of ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’, aka ‘Ugly Sonic’. It’s because the character is so charismatic that he won a campaign to star in a spin-off from the director himself.

Akiva Schaffer, in an interview with The Wrap, revealed that he would love to see the strange hedgehog star in his own feature film. According to him, the production could work like ‘LEGO: Batman: The Movie’ (2017), the acclaimed derivative of ‘A LEGO Adventure’ (2014).

“I love this character. I’m saying it here and now: a spin-off for that LEGO: Batman style? Give Ugly Sonic a full movie,” Schaffer said.

“I got a message from one of the authors with a screenshot and I couldn’t tell if it was real, and I didn’t know if I should respond sarcastically or not,” he said. he declares.
