In 2018, Warner Bros. managed to raise more than a billion dollars worldwide with “Aquaman” thanks to the laid-back charisma of Jason Momoa.
And the star hopes to repeat the feat with the sequel, which will be released next year.
In an interview with GQ, the interpreter of Arthur Curry was asked about the plot of the new film and made a riddle.
But he assured that the sequel will be much funnier than the first.
“I’m having a lot of fun with this job… There’s a lot… Well, it’s going to be a lot funnier. It’s a return to… Hmm, I can’t reveal too much. I really don’t want to give anything away…”
In May, it was already reported that the film was intended from the start as an adventure comedy between Aquaman and his half-brother, King Orm (Patrick Wilson).
Have fun watching:
It is therefore possible that this setback evoked by Momoa is linked to the strong personality of Orm.
Now we just have to wait for new updates.
Remember that the sequel is scheduled for March 17, 2023.
