Actor CONFIRMS ‘Eternals 2’, Says Chloe Zhao Will Direct; Did you like the first movie?

During an appearance on the TODAY Show on Tuesday, Patton Oswalt – who played Pip the troll in the original – said a sequel to the film was in the works.

Additionally, he hinted that the film will see Oscar winner Chloe Zhao return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for another try.

“They announced that there will be a sequel to Eternals and that Chloe Zhao will direct it,” Patton said on the Morning Show. “So hopefully there will be more Starfox and Pip adventures.”

And one of the post-credits scenes of “Eternals”, Starfox (Harry Styles), Thanos’ brother, is introduced to the MCU in the company of Pip the Troll, played by Patton Oswalt.

The duo invade the ship Domo, piloted by Thena (Angelina Jolie), Druig (Barry Keoghan) and Makkari (Lauren Ridloff).

In the scene, the group discussed returning to Earth to find out what happened to Sersi (Gemma Chan), Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani), and Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry) after Arishem contacted them at the end of the episode. plot.

In an interview with Comic Book, Oswalt was asked about this and seemed quite optimistic about the idea of ​​gaining more space in the MCU.

“I haven’t heard of these rumours. But it would be great if the sequel was about Starfox and Pip, because it seems to me that every time Marvel introduces these secondary characters everyone is like, “Oh, who cares about these guys?” But that’s where it all begins and they end up in the spotlight.

He continued:

“It was the same with ‘Guardians of the Galaxy.’ I don’t know if you’ve seen the ‘Ms. Marvel’ series, but it’s absolutely amazing. Man”. I think these characters are fantastic and very, very underrated. So if they did a movie about Starfox and Pip, that would be the story I would love to see.
