Natália Klein, the producer, screenwriter and actress of the Netflix series ‘Maldives’, has come to the defense of Bruna Marquezine, after the former global was accused of being unsympathetic behind the scenes of the production. Marquezine was recently mistaken for Neymar’s new girlfriend by the international press.
According to Veja magazine, Bruna “did not say ‘hello’ or ‘thank you and only left the dressing room to record, always with her face… closed, because ugly is impossible”, writes the journalist. In addition to Marquezine, the series has the cast with names like Manu Gavassi, Sheron Menezes, Carol Castro, and Vanessa Gerbelli.
“Wow, great nose when she brought boxes of good chocolate to EVERYONE ON CREW on the last day of filming. Horrible. When the chocolate ran out, I was really offended,” Natália said on Twitter.
It’s worth recalling that Natália even ironically posted “How come Bruna isn’t here to give me a box of chocolates every week??? I have to buy??? Ridiculous. So full of himself”.

“The series is about a very particular universe, which are these luxury condominiums in Barra da Tijuca, with everything inside – people don’t need to leave them for anything in the world. Its inhabitants have a very strong sense of community, know everything about each other and live with a false sense of security. But what happens when a crime happens inside? commented Klein, who also works as a screenwriter.
