Directors Kat Coiro and Anu Valia, who are currently working on the upcoming “ Woman-Hulk, ” appear to have confirmed that the Disney + series will have more than six episodes, as announced months ago (via ComicBook.com).
In his official Instagram, Coiro confirmed that he will direct and produce the pilot episode, the season finale, and four other chapters. In another post, Valia wrote that he “oversees a few episodes,” suggesting a season that runs from eight to ten episodes.
It’s worth remembering that Tatiana Maslany has been officially confirmed as the main protagonist, while Tim Roth will return as the villainous Abomination ten years after playing him.
For those who aren’t familiar, lawyer Jennifer Walters is Bruce Banner’s cousin and receives a blood transfusion from the Hulk after going between life and death when she is shot by bandits. Because of this, she ends up undergoing a transformation, becoming the Woman-Hulk. Unlike her cousin, she manages to keep control of her mind, but her human appearance disappears for good.
Over the years, she has become a highly respected heroine and has been a part of the “Avengers“, “Defenders” and even the “Fantastic Four”.
