“A rewarding martial arts action adventure with two brilliant protagonists, plenty of lightning-fast sword fights and the best storyline for a ‘GI Joe’ universe movie.” – USA today.

“That might not be all diehard Snake Eyes fans are looking for, but they know it’s only the beginning and“ knowing is only half the battle. ”- Drunken reviews punch .

“’Snake Eyes’ is a complete disaster! Total and utter disregard for the character’s history, heritage and canon. As a true fan and collector of the franchise for 40 years, this film broke my heart. The film ignores the elements that made Snake Eyes so cool and mysterious.

#Snakeyes IS AN UNEXPECTED DISASTER! Total and utter disregard for the character’s history, heritage and canon. As a true fan & collector of intellectual property for 40 years, this film broke my heart. What made Snake Eyes cool and mysterious is NOT in this movie! Another Paramount dumpster fire.

“’Snake Eyes’ was better than I expected in some ways, but it broke its promise. Henry Golding is solid and Andrew Koji steals the show, but the shaking camera abuse and messy editing of ruin fight footage that should be in full swing. Still, it’s a really fun movie.

#SnakeEyes was in some ways better than I expected, but fell short of its promises. Henry Golding is solid and Andrew Koji steals it, but the abuse of shaky cameras and the confusing montage of sadly bad fight footage that absolutely should explode. It’s still a very entertaining moment.

“’Snake Eyes’ was better than expected. It’s beautiful and has a few surprises in both the look and the plot. Try to be an indie ninja melodrama with elements
from the ‘GI Joe’ franchise. But Golding is a bit bland (Koji steals the show), and the action, while gloriously staged, is poorly put together. This film is between the first two releases.

#SnakeEyes – better than expected. Gorgeous looks, with some plots / visual surprises. Try to be a standalone ninja melodrama with #GIJoe elements. But Golding is a bit bland (Koji steals the show) and the action, while gloriously staged, has risen to death. RISE> SNAKE> RETALIATION pic.twitter.com/E1WmCwKqPE

“’GI Joe Origins – Snake Eyes’ is not very good. It’s repetitive and devoid of energy, the character arcs are played out all over the place, and the elements of the “GI Joe” franchise are shallow. I liked the actors, but they are so much better than the movie itself.

Snake Eyes: GI Joe Origins is not very good. It’s repetitive and devoid of energy, character arcs are everywhere and the GI Joe stuff seems completely redundant. I liked the actors in the roles but they are much better than the movie itself. Full review tomorrow pic.twitter.com/MMPq2fZnji

“I had fun watching ‘Snake Eyes’. It won’t be the movie of the year for anyone, but it was a great hobby in the movies (and makes me want to see more of the ‘GI Joe’ franchise in this universe).

“I had fun with the movie ‘Snake Eyes’, I liked the complex characters and its plot has always intrigued me. My only criticism is some shaky camera footage, which slightly detracts from the action sequences. Other than that, count on me in a sequel.

I had a great time with #SnakeEyes, enjoyed the intricate characters, and her story intrigued me throughout. My only criticism is for some shaky camera shots that do a little disservice to the action sequences. Other than that, count me on a #FilmTwitter sequel 🙌🏽 pic.twitter.com/DJHR7QoRap

“‘GI Joe Origins – Snake Eyes’ has action from start to finish with sword fights, motorcycle chases and everything in between, but it’s all monotonous and forgettable. With a rushed narrative and a protagonist unpleasantly, this latest attempt to revitalize the ‘GI Joe’ franchise has once again failed.

SNAKE EYES: GI JOE ORIGINS has non-stop action of sword fights, motorcycle chases, and giant snakes, but it’s all drab and time-honored. With hasty storytelling and an unkind protagonist, this latest attempt to revitalize the GI Joe series rolls the dice and fails again pic.twitter.com/xOwxorIZCV

With action scenes worthy of the ‘Matrix’ trilogy, the film will tell the story of the dumb ninja before he became a member of Joes’ elite team and why he took a vow of silence.

Watch the trailer:

Robert Schwentke (‘RED: Retired and Dangerous’) is in charge of the directing, based on a screenplay by Evan Spiliotopoulos (‘The hunter and the ice queen’).

Henry Golding (‘Rotten of the Rich’) stars in the production. The cast also includes Samara Weaving (Scarlett), Ursula Corbero (The Baroness), Iko Uwais (Hard Master), Andrew Koji (Storm Shadow) and Haruka Abe.

Snake Eyes was featured in ‘GI Joe: The Snake’s Origin’ (2009) and ‘GI Joe: Retaliation’ (2013), played by Ray Park, and first appeared in the 1980s in the comic book titled ‘ GI Joe: One True American Hero ‘.

Alongside his staunch companion, Timber, Snake Eyes didn’t take long to become one of the most popular characters in the entire franchise.
