According to TVLine, the musical “Zoey and her Fantastic Playlist” (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) should be saved from cancellation.
The site claims streaming service Roku is finalizing a deal to bring production back to movie format – which will end the plot in a dignified fashion.
Apparently, if the feature is successful on the platform, there’s a good chance the series will officially return for a 3rd season. New distribution agreements, led by Jane Levy, are currently being negotiated.
Earlier, series showrunner Austin Winsberg said, “I refuse to believe the series is dead. There is a lot of love and goodwill involved, and our fans are amazing. Here’s what we need: I think we have a good chance of finding a new home, but the more support we have the better. Please tweet about #saveZoeysplaylist.
The second season recorded an average of 0.35 in the demo and a total of 1.8 million viewers, which is one of the worst audiences on the chain.

The plot tells the story of Zoey Clarke (Levy), a clever computer programmer who tries to trace her success to San Francisco. After one particular incident, she eventually acquires an unusual talent, being able to hear the deepest and most hidden desires and desires of those around her.
