“Under the direction of Chuck Lorre and Steve Molaro, this wonderful cast and talented screenwriters really brought these incredible characters to life,” Kelly Kahl, President of CBS, said in a statement. “’Young Sheldon’ draws a large following and is the centerpiece of Thursday’s comedy lineup. The humor, emotion and heart exhaled by the Cooper family is an undeniable draw to the millions of fans who tune in every week. We’re excited to see what the next three seasons have in store for a slightly older Sheldon and all of the Coopers.
What if #YoungSheldon was a * real * ’90s sitcom? We can only imagine what it would look like, but you don’t have to imagine – we’ve got three more seasons of Young Sheldon! pic.twitter.com/090Me4qOaA
