Pasta is certainly the most purchased food and, therefore, consumed in Italy. It is, in fact, a dish that for centuries has belonged to the culinary culture of our beloved country and which, among many, must necessarily be eaten at least once a day. Admittedly, it is a dish which, out of habit, is part of the daily diet, but that does not mean that consumers eat the same thing every day.
In fact, especially in Italy, we have the opportunity to appreciate and taste many different varieties of pasta: long, short, curly, broken pasta. There really are a lot of them, but the favorite cuts are always spaghetti and penne, rigate rigate, so they can better preserve the sauce of the sauce. Pasta is so loved above all because, by spending very little, it is able to satisfy us without making us lose the opportunity to taste a good dish.
In recent months, a shadow is getting closer and closer to the large pasta producers: in fact, from some studies carried out in German laboratories, it appears that in many European brands the pasta produced contains radioactive substances. Needless to say, the shocking news left even representatives of the scientific community speechless; indeed, they felt it was their duty to notify the various competent authorities as quickly as possible to stop the spread of these substances which are extremely dangerous for humans.
The Ministry of Health, in parallel with the competent European authorities, immediately announced the news by disclosing the brand, the batch and the date of production. In no time, all the relevant protocols were put in place, obviously starting with the withdrawal of the offending batches from the market. People started to get really scared, especially in countries like Germany and France: in those places the analyzed brands are very widespread and many consumers had already purchased and consumed different packaging. In these cases, there is no reason to be alarmed, the experts having given fairly clear indications.
These are not very high doses for each individual package, so each individual will end up taking a very low percentage per serving. The problem arises when contaminated pasta is consumed regularly, therefore with daily frequency: in this case, the percentage increases and the consumer could experience symptoms such as vomiting, abdominal pain, chills and very high fever. In addition, the authorities ask that common sense be maintained and not to crowd hospitals if no symptoms occur.
